Horror ride

Ah, what a week... Thursday this week, I was out riding on my horse Xet. We rode on the riding schools lands and when we had come up a slope and when we got up, Xet stopped very quickly. He started to breath, after a short while so loudly that it echoed through the whole wood! And his heart started to beat, so hard that it felt like thrusts in my legs!

I relazied that it had to be some predators near. I couldn't see since it was dark and I (of course) forgot my headlamp at home... We managed to go by and go home, but Xet wanted to run all the time and once he nearly stepped up.. The day after (yesterday) we rode back there and I saw the footprints of a catamount. (picture)

Really scary... Though, I didn't get scared until we had come home to the stables and I was on my way home. I was totally calm under the whole ride home which takes 30 minutes... I'm weird xD But I don't ever want to meet a catamount again. Not on a horseback at least...
